HOW CAN WE HELP?
Each student receives a Student Services Advisor assigned to them at admissions. Advisors are assigned based on the student’s date of entry to the university and/or location.
Student Services advisors serve as a resource and liaison to all other areas. Together, a student and advisor stay connected to stay on track in the program and triage academic, health, technology, and other student life needs.
Advisors are the “first line” of support for candidates and liaison between the student and are trained to provide resource and referral support.
MEET OUR TEAM
As Student Services, we have a responsibility to high quality advising, coaching, and building of student capacity. We welcome accountability-- e.g., being open to feedback, responsive to students, and meeting success indicators— and we will hold our students accountable to their goals as well.
We believe that we will have systemic impact by coupling advising best practices with a caring, human centered spirit. We will approach our students as individuals who hold agency, talents, and a wealth of knowledge. Each student is a person, not a case.
